In October 2010 Sofia will become the meeting point for software professionals to discuss topics related to the current challenges software development companies are facing and a variety of possible solutions and opportunities for the future.
Two international conferences will join together this year in Sofia: CEE-SPI and EuroMed SPI, and will be hosted by the ESICenter Bulgaria. Indeed, after three successful conferences – in Krakow, Budapest, and Bucharest – the 4th CEE-SPI, a Kugler Maag CIE conference will be joining together for this edition with the first edition of EuroMed SPI, a European Software Institute (ESI) conference in collaboration with Software Engineering Institute (SEI).
These conferences serve as a forum for companies of the region to report and share their experiences in improving their software process capabilities. It also serves to raise awareness about the need for professional, mature processes as a key competitive weapon.
I will participate in this year’s edition of the conference thanks to my friends from Make Sence, who provided me with a free pass for the event! Thanks guys you are awsome!
